THE CANDY DANCE

We always have a special song and dance for the children. Some call it the Candy Dance. Candy is put onto the ground within the circle and the children are invited in to dance. Warriors enter the circle with the children. One special Warrior often carries a staph which is special and used for this dance only.

When the music stops, the children scurry to pick up as much candy as they can, which has been left upon the ground. The children are always told however, to share; and more often than not, they always do. Never taking more than they could, so all the children, from the very tiny to the biggest, can all have a share of the candy, the fun and the dance. In this way, the children are taught again, the importance of sharing with one another.

Dancing, fun and laughter and stories to be told.
